Please contact us for an informal chat; we would love to hear from you.
Our supported volunteering project is dedicated to giving vulnerable people the extra help they need to get into volunteering.
With funding secured from Yarlington Housing Group, we are able to offer tailored support to those who are isolated, lack confidence or disadvantaged in someway, ensuring the benefits of volunteering are accessible to everyone.
Potential volunteers will be matched to a trained volunteer mentor based on their individual needs and interests. The assigned mentor will then support the volunteer on a one to one basis through the volunteering process for as long as needed for the individual to feel confident to continue on their own.
If you, or anyone you know could benefit from the services of this project, please get in touch with the team on 01935 475914 / 414023 or email email@example.com.
If you feel you have what it takes to offer someone else the right support and encouragement, mentoring could be the perfect volunteering opportunity for you.
We will make sure you are matched with the right person, based on your skills and experiences.
We will provide the training and support you need every step of the way and ensure your volunteer mentor duties can fit in with your busy schedule. Whether that’s a few hours in your lunch break, after work, or during your days off.
Step outside your daily routine, meet new people, and step into a brand new perspective on life. Above all you'll get the satisfaction of knowing you made a difference where it matters most to someone in your community.
Help us to break down barriers by providing supported volunteers with meaningful volunteering experiences.
By offering someone a chance to volunteer at your organisation, you could make a real difference to their wellbeing, their skills and even their employability.
We will work closely with you to ensure the right volunteer is found for your opportunity.
Ongoing support will be offered to both you and the supported volunteer, throughout the placement, ensuring all parties are benefitting from the experience.
A trained volunteer mentor will work with the supported volunteer until such time as the volunteer has the confidence and skill level to continue without support.
If you would be interested in either working with us to provide opportunities, becoming a supported volunteer or volunteer mentor, we would really love to hear from you.
